Malawi’s staple food is called Nsima and it is usually served with side dishes of beef, chicken, fish and vegetables. If you find your self by the lake we would highly recommend trying out the famous Chambo fish.

Malawi has a sub-tropical climate with 3 main seasons. The rainy, warm-wet season stretches from November to April, A cool, dry winter season from May to August and A hot, dry season from September to October.
LANGUAGES
English is the official language of Malawi while Chichewa is the national language spoken by 57% of the population. Other languages include Tumbuka (mostly spoken in the northen region) and Yao (Mostly spoken in the Eastern and Southern region).
